Norest es un reciente proyecto musical de la ciudad de Bogotá creado en el 2019, conformado por Geo Orozco (voz); Alejandro Zapata (guitarra); Ángel Arévalo (batería); Alejandro Blanco (bajo); y Felipe Peña (guitarra).

Norest es la reunión de múltiples esfuerzos para consolidar un sonido entre el metalcore y el hardcore potente y visceral, influenciado por artistas internacionales como After The Burial, The Ghost Inside, Lamb of God; y aristas de gran talla nacional como Legacy of The Fallen, To Your Glory y Syracusae.

Este proyecto recoge los intentos para armonizar los sonidos icónicos del metalcore e innovar sobre ritmos frescos y melodías en capas. Su sonido se destaca por sus riffs frenéticos y sus breakdowns violentos en torno a rasgueos guturales contundentes.
